ABOUT ME

My name is Leslie Ann, my pronouns are She/Her. I live and work on the ancestral homelands of the Beothuk, and the island of Newfoundland as the ancestral homelands of the Mi’kmaq and Beothuk. I am a cisgender, heterosexual, able-bodied 53-year-old Caucasian woman. My ancestors arrived to Newfoundland from England several years ago. They settled here and many generations have continued to live in Newfoundland. I am English speaking and was raised in a Christian home.  I am a registered nurse , and a business woman who lives in a dual income home and is considered upper/middle class. I have a husband and a son with whom I share my home and my life. I have a strong social network in my community and supportive friends and colleagues. I have a baccalaureate university degree and presently completing a graduate degree in nursing.
